GPU VRAM Overclocking Possible with Linux Kernel 6.4
I upgraded from Debian Bookworm (Stable), which has kernel 6.1, to Debian Trixie (Testing), which has kernel 6.4. Until then, I couldn’t overclock my GPU’s VRAM beyond 1750 MHz. With kernel 6.4, I can overclock it as far as AMD will allow - 1860 MHz. If my 5600 XT hadn’t been locked down by AMD, I’d be able to go further...

Knowledge Transferability in NixOS
I’ve been recently getting into NixOS, and I really like the concept of the store, reproducible builds, and declarative configuration. It keeps things organized and clean. But there are certain aspects of its implementation that are kind of rough:...

PDF Editor
I need a PDF editor to create internal hyperlinks in a document. I purchased a huge PDF and would like to be able to link internally to keep me from having to scroll or search the relevant data when needed. Can't figure out NFS file sharing
Sorry, noob here. I have been using Linux for a decade at least, but some basic stuff still stump me. Today, it’s file sharing: The idea is that the server is good at CPU and the NAS is good at storage. My NAS does run Docker but the services are slow; and my server runs a bunch of Docker containers just fine but has limited...
