Would it be possible to see posts filtered as the fake image suggests? I’d like to be able to filter posts by subject as well as by subscription and, maybe, create my own filters, like: posts from my instance AND to communities I’m subscribed to AND mention MyFavouriteSubject....

I have been posting to a community on lemmy.fmhy.ml for a while now. Someone notified me that since it’s down no one else will see my posts. I assume that only people on my instance can see them. I’ve set up a Lemmy instance and tested federation by commenting with my Mastodon account on the lemmy instance, which worked....
As it is currently, the storage space on server can quickly fill up if cached images are not cleaned regularly....
I’ve noticed this happening a lot and even with replies to comments that I’ve sent which makes it very frustrating to use. In Sync they show as “view parent” but in others they are just invisible. Clicking View parent gives no new content. Anyone know why these exist?
For some reason on my self hosted lemmy instance, I’ve managed to accumulate about 50GB worth of data inside my pictrs docker volume. I’m the only person on my instance and I’ve never uploaded any photos to my server other than my profile photo, profile banner, and site logo. Shouldn’t all photos be hosted on other...

Can you see if a moderator has removed comments from a thread? Can you see the content of the removed comments? Are moderators able to specify motive for the specific removal?
Are we able to post videos or images in the comments? I know that you can post a video in the post such as a sign language video, but are people able to respond with a video comment in sign language?...
I’m getting an error when trying to access the PC master race community on lemmy.world “couldnt_find_community”. I can’t even read my own comments on there. Strange, considering as far as I know we haven’t defederated from .world. Anybody know how I can fix this or should I message the admins?

I mean, I don’t want to see graphic content or sexual content, I like lemmy without it. But, there is no NSFW 2 tag, i.e., no graphic images but posts which are not safe for work....
Why is the lemmy hot sort seemingly so bad? After the first couple of posts it turns into new posts with no votes, sometimes the same new post multiple times back to back to different communities, and sometimes posts with negative points.
