What the current way to request a community on lemmy.ml?

Hello,

I opened a request on !community_requests 12 days ago for !unixporn , but nobody addressed it: lemmy.ml/post/3172834.

At that point in time, I just wanted to unpin that thread. I’m not even interested in moderating that community, I got a few others to deal with in the meantime.

@pop would like to be the moderator of that community.

I even questioned the usage of community_requests on !meta 2 days ago, but no answer neither : lemmy.ml/post/3701125

It seems like the whole process isn’t really active anymore, does anyone know how to do it?

Silly question but can’t you just create the community yourself?
