I did the thing that strikes fear in the heart of Knitters the world over. ;)

I cut the sweater into a cardigan.

First I needle felted the cut line, then snip snip!

Next step is to pick up stitches for the button bands.

@knitting and it is all finished! The button bands were a lot easier to pick up and knit than I had thought.

And in the melding of my hobbies - the buttons are ones I made from stoneware.
