Ugh. I have project starting confusion. I finished my last project, and I want to start a new one, but I can’t decide on one.
This state of in-between makes me twitch.
How do you decide? Look for a pattern first?
Decide on a stashed yarn first, then look for a matching pattern? Something else?

@yazzea @knitting I like to reference my queue on , and usually have thoughts about the projects there. I try to keep the queue list under 20. When the time comes I tend to pick from there. It's a kind of "hot list." I also like to leave room for group KALs and MKALs, like the upcoming Stephen West which I'm definitely doing!

@yazzea @knitting Get a feel for whether you want a big project or a quick win. Are you in the mood for something challenging or a nice soothing knit?

@yazzea @knitting What do you need?

Do you need more clothing? Housewares? Gifts?

Or are there additional skills you want to acquire that a new project could help you acquire?

Or would reducing stash (if you have one) be beneficial?
