birlocke_, 1 year ago I do believe that Mastodon supports Elasticsearch/Opensearch OOTB, so you're not wrong on NoSQLs being fediverse compatible. Personally I haven't looked into the kbin stack so I can't give an opinion as to why psql is used over X.
