@patrickhadfield Indeed! I only caught him live once, a Moholo two-nigher in Ravenna (2016). First night was Minafric Orchestra + Tippett/s + Moholo, and then (wrong way round, but Moholo insisted, alas) the Couple in Spirit, which was eerily wonderful ... difficult to get in after the blast, but slowly captivating. (Second night was Moholo Four Blokes - great fun of course!)

@A_Passion_for_Jazz@jazz Image description: 8 1/2 by 11 lost poster parody. Image of Miles Davis in sunglasses and blowing on a trumpet. Tearoffs at bottom represent a piano keyboard. Text: Have you seen this cat? "Miles" Kind of blue. Nocturnal. Solitary. Warning: Extremely distant, cold and withdrawn. Quick [unreadable] contempt for critics and everyone else. Likely to be confrontational. Does not respond [unreadable].
I know this album is compared to Bitches Brew, but I do like Miles in the Sky better. That is completely subjective and may have something to do with growing up with Bitches Brew, having heard it so many times in my life may make me appreciate Miles in the Sky more.
