Lawns in the UK are nothing like lawns in the US. I never water it or use weedkiller and it stays green all year. It has buttercups and clover growing among it. I only mow it infrequently when it gets very long.
Same for me in the Pacific NW. I have some small lawn areas, but all I do is occasionally mow whatever happens to grow there. It is mostly grass, but all kinds of other stuff too. We have the same climate as England, where lawns started.
Sadly it’s one of the less expensive options. The only cheaper option I found during my research, that isn’t total crap is this one: radpowerbikes.eu/…/radwagon-electric-cargo-bikeEverything else starts at 5000€ for longtails :/
