Decent mildlyinteresting sub on Lemmy but it feels really barren out here (reddit refuge here). Can’t find a sub for my breed of dog or my make of car. Looking for some suggestions for solid Lemmy subs to make me feel like there is something going on here....
There is finally a decent alternative to reddit, after one has been needed for years? And it’s open source federated software?? AND I can sign up on an instance that supports free sharing of media?!...
I was able to download some textbooks a while back but they never stayed permanent and I guess had some sort of DRM that made them expire after 14 days....
I usually download from libgen and read on Panels on my iPad, but often issues of the same series use different naming conventions and they all get mixed up. Is there any way to semi-automatically rename and organize comics?

I’d like to set something up for my Kobo Libra 2 that puts together a site where I collect my reading list (good reads, storygraph, bookwyrm) then downloads those books to a local server ( readarr?). Then makes them available for my Kobo( calibre web?)....
Zion Huang just released InnerTune 0.5.0, a free and open source YouTube Music client. The download throttling of the previous versions was finally fixed, making InnerTune now a pretty solid alternative to Spotify and YTM Premium.
As the title says I can’t add them and I actually get an error message when doing so that the admin hadn’t changed. I don’t really mind but others may as it is about plex. But I can access it as a non logged in user.
It lets me paste the playlist link but everytime I have tried it, it makes you manually download each song in the playlist rather than automatically doing it. Am I missing the place that you download all or is this how the website is meant to be used?...

I have trouble finding english manga actually i havent found any online yet, most places are for books or in something i cant read. manga is pricey so i thought i could maybe print my own for personal use and to learn a new skill but that seems dumb, either way i want to read manga....
