Sorry if this is obvious, but I fail to find where I can donate to fmhy. I see the support button on top, but that donates to lemmy if I’m not mistaken? How/where do I donate to you guys directly?
Might make it more of an option since you could view this instance as a road to the federated instances.
Just so happens this instance is about FM, hy!
Maybe being able to donate towards hosting is an option. And if donations only cover that each month and then cut off, no profit is being made. Only costs covered.
From what I know they don’t accept donations for now (not 100% sure). This is from FAQ for their wiki about piracy, not sure if it extends to this instance:
Q: Can I donate?
A: We appreciate that people want to support us by donating, but the reason we maintain this project is because it’s fun and it’s our desire to help others, not to make money. We never have and never will accept donations.
