How do people feel about Akkoma? It seems to be a fork of pleroma that’s been showing up in comments lately. If you’ve tried it please share your experience.

I cant find much information about it. Is it possible to create an instance which will be part of a server, like lemmy.ml. Or do I have to run a server to be able to create a sub inside lemmy.ml(or any other). Thanks

Many threads and comments since almost a month ago still haven’t reached the lemmy.ml instance. Other instances seem to be well synchronized though.

Why do the instances keep going down? It makes me think that this is not a reliable social network, but the alternatives are not as good.
