@fdroid Why do I need to click an extra button in the updates screen to show which apps have updates? I already went to this screen, and it's an extra step for no apparent reason.

Seriously, what?

bizdelnick,

Just checked, all updates are shown by default. What am I doing wrong?

bizdelnick,

BTW there is a “show available updates” setting that I have enabled. Unsure what exactly it does, probably it’s a solution.

Just use neo store or droid ify

juli,

Yeah, kind of bad that fdroid doesn’t advertise them

snowdrop,

Well I mean they are on the official repo, idk what else they would do

juli,

f-droid.org where does it say that there are other apps?

snowdrop,
snowdrop,

Honestly should try Droid-ify. It’s a much better and modern f-droid client. A lot of the design decisions of the official client baffles me.

This. The official client is an all round terrible user experience and for no good reason. Please move to Droidify.

So much better, and it regularly gets little QOL updates, too. It’s fast approaching Play Store (ca 2000, before they added all the steps to get past the shopping spam) convenience.
