Trying to be like garfield minus garfield. Or is it the same person? I don’t think this will have as deep of an existential crisis feel as g-g has.

When you remove Garfield you end up with some existential content. When you remove Heathcliff you usually get a comic strip that works exactly the same as if he was there because he typically adds nothing to the joke. So it’s not trying to be like G-G. It’s goal and result are completely different.
