This cute fellow had a very traumatic expirence a few months back. I have a reusable paper shopping bag and after putting away the groceries I left it lying on the couch. The cat found it and though it was a very good place to sit on, as they do. But somehow he managed to stick his head through one of the handles.
And when trying to get up and down the couch, all hell broke loose. The cat now had a giant paperbag attached to it’s neck that inflated like a parachute. He started running around, trying to get under the couch or cupboards, but he was dragging the bag along, which made a tremendous noise, getting thrashed around the furniture. It was pandemonium.
I tried to help, but he was just going crazy, but eventually he broke the paper handle and was free. He didn’t come out from his hiding spot behind the couch for 12h.
It was also one of the funniest things I’ve ever witnessed. And yes, I feel bad about that.
