Oh well if it’s the majority, then the ends justify the means, right? You gotta crack a few eggs to make an omelette after all, and if suicidal people who could have been saved die unnecessarily, that’s a small price to pay. Shoot, if you extend this grand and humane mercy to social parasites people who have a lifelong struggle with the pain of being in a wheelchair, or being autistic, or being old, you can’t deny that it would make things a lot easier on everyone else. Maybe the unbearably oppressive societal burden of being First Nations will be grounds for euthanasia next.
