There is quite a lot of bilingual mainly French speaking people (let’s say conversational level of English, if people don’t t speak too fast) but the other way around is scarce if you go outside of QC, NB, NS and PEI.
Whenever you call for a warrantee, or any kind of service by a pan-Canadian company, as a French person, you get reminded of that (as in they technically offer a French agent, but you should talk to someone in English otherwise you’ll get nowhere.)
