@agt@bookstodon I love my Kobo, the overdrive integration is great. You can also use Pocket to save web pages and have them pop up on the reader (which I find especially great for short stories). The latest firmware update also added Google Drive to the existing Dropbox support. As far as ecosystems go, it’s pretty open despite being very similar to Amazon for ebooks you buy on their store I guess.
