@MarianHellema @bookstodon great list, lots of authors I like on there, though not many books Ive actually read yet. I was blown away by What a Carve Up in the 90s when I read it. i read the New York Trilogy many years ago and remember almost nothing about it! maybe I should revisit that one. i’ve never read Anne Tyler - is there a particular book of hers that’s a good place to start?

It's hard to choose which Ann Tyler, she's always good! But if you can get The Accidental Tourist, that would be great. Hope you'll enjoy her. From what I have seen in your wonderful reviews, my guess is that you will!

World's End is a beauty. Read many years ago, still sticks in my mind.
