Dare to Know (James Kennedy) 6/10

This is either a 4/10 or an 8/10 and since I can't figure out which I'm splitting the difference.

Told in first person, this is a story of the midlife crisis of a man whose profession is predicting the precise time of death for clients.

The entire book comes off dark, grimy, and more than a little incoherent/trippy. It's on purpose, but is very jarring.

I either liked it a lot or kinda hated it. I'm not sure which.
