A lot to remember when doing the combat sequences, but a really fun co-op game! Anyone played it?

We had 3 or 4 sets....

I spend some time to make a custom insert for Terraforming Mars, I just dislike all those tiny baggies! Everything fits neatly into the box and I just love the boxes for the Gold, Silver and Copper resources. Its so satisfying to align them all inside :D. I also enjoy that the cards are at an angle, makes shuffling unnecessary...

And bourbon…

Placing shiny glass diamonds in this combo-tastic puzzler is a joy since everyone selects one card to play per turn and that can trigger several additional turns all at once! Lots of things to think about for scoring and gorgeous presentation… a classic Knizia design.

Clank! was one of my first real games that I played heavily, and now we have all expansions, we did the whole legacy campaign for Acquisitions Incorporated, and I got the asymmetric player expansion. Skipped Clank in Space but went for Catacombs and we really enjoy the exploring, but I don’t feel like there’s as much loot to...

Just played a game of the original Arkham Horror boardgame from 1987. The game started off by giving us 3 gates to deal with. Finished with the doom track one away from “The end of Arkham”. Only one Investigator died and needed to be replaced. Introduced 2 new people to this game (both had played more recent versions).

Broke out Gate and the Gates expansion for this morning’s solo game session. Got close to winning this time around, but the deck was under built by the time I got to the final two enemies. Final score of 30!

Opted for a couple games of Onirim this morning, and I got close to finally winning! Or at least I thought I had until I checked the discard and saw that that blue moon card I needed was discarded only a few turns into the game. Oh well, one day…

Got in our first game of Waypoints. Fun little roll and write. A lot to wrap your head around. Some of the scoring conditions are a little tricky. Had a good time though. May take it on an upcoming trip.

With Essen Spiel, Germany feels like the centre of the board game world. Well, down south (waaaay down south) we’re also obsessed and making games. If you’re interested in what we’re up to you can listen to this conversation between some of our board game designers.

I had never played the game but heard a lot of good thi gs about it from friends and on the dice tower, it’s also the number 3 abstract on bgg ATM so I jumped into fusion 360 and designed my own copy.

I have four Uwe Rosenberg games. Three of those follow a similar format: game title on top, then a line, then some dude, another line, publisher logo. But Feast For Odin had to go and be all creative and unique.

BTW: The black deck box is full of Unstable Unicorns and it's expansions.

Finally got the Wingspan Nesting Box. It fits all the current expansions and has room for the future. I swear it must clock in at like 20lbs....

I couldn’t find the game in the stores near where I live, so I made my own. We played on top of a mountain with little stones for coins.

Castles of Burgundy is simply amazing and still holds up to modern games. Anyone has the new edition? Is it worth the prize? I am happy with the 20th anniversary edition

The weather is improving and we would love to combine boardgaming and spending time outside. Azul works very well outside, not so many things can fly away. Any other recommendations?
