this is really cool (if a bit morbid, but probably realistic of how humans would approach something like fairies) is this part of a series by chance?

Not that I’m aware of. Apparently, the creator made this as a christmas present for their sister.

I only buy naturally mummified fairies. Those industrial mummified ones are so … I dunno … cheap feeling.

Agreed. I think a lot of ‘em use industrial desiccants to speed up the process, and I get that they do it to meet demand, but it absolutely WRINGS out the moisture and does some damage in the process.

Air-drying them over the course of a few months is the way to go.

It’s the factory farming that goes along with the industrial process. It’s just not humane how they keep the fairies crammed together in those little cages.
