Monomate,

How did Huawei get it’s hands on a Snapdragon chip? If I recall correctly, they’re under US trade sanctions.

Lobreeze,

Do people outside of China actually buy Huawei devices?

Szymon,

I considered one briefly but don’t want the chance that Winnie The Pooh gets all my keystrokes.

I’ve had Chinese coworkers with them, but haven’t seen one otherwise. That being said, I don’t around discussing phone choices with people as a regular thing.

They were showing up and and more here in Canada a few years back. Not so much recently AFAIK.

agame,

680 is a mediocre processor. It is entry level.

ThatsMrCharlieToYou,

At some point, I hope manufacturers start giving us bigger sensors, rather than insisting on raising the MP of the sensor. I love the modern era where most smartphones are offering great point and shoot photos, but the bigger sensors are really the best way to innovate in that area

Consensus between consumers is bigger MP = more beautiful images, hard to change that

ThatsMrCharlieToYou,

Agreed. It’s just such a bummer. All of the big sensor phones operate it like a gimmick and you get a camera with a tacked on phone. What would be beneficial is a good phone with a big sensor. I think the images would slowly change the minds of general consumers
