How do you deal with your ADHD?
No judgement? Do you use strategies or meds or both? I’m curious....

I’ve realised this is something I drastically need to implement into my life. I’ve had minor successes with meditation in the past but it never really sticks. I’m not great at sitting still and I also have back issues so struggle to sit up straight for long periods....
I’ve been having good results and just wanted to share how my changed treatment plan has already been having a big impact on me....
found a way to solve my issue by practicing meditation via n-back client, I will hopefully write down the details in my brain training sub soon
I’ve been employed in the same company for the past 16 years as a systems analyst. Over the past 10 years or so I’ve always had 2-3 monitors (4 - 5 at times when I got real ambitious). Recently, I downgraded to a single 32" 1440p monitor and it feels as if I’m able to focus more intently on what I’m working on....
but today I did more cleaning up while I was brushing my teeth before going to bed than the entire rest of the day.
How many times must we say this? I'm over my limit when trying to extend a conversation past "oh cool" or not realizing someone was trying to share excitement or whatever with me....

Does anyone feel like they’re missing social cues that neurotypical people understand without being taught? I’m missing out on career opportunities because of it. Does any type of guide/rulebook exist to effectively mask?
You don’t have ADHD
Adderall 2 days in a row now makes me paranoid, and I’ve never really been able to get a doc to prescribe vyvance or anything else, and frankly at this point, I’m afraid to do stimulants. Strattera made me feel weird....
I'm a little confused, I know based on my whole life experiences that I do indeed have ADHD; but I don't know how I should tell my doctor about it? I mean, it's disrespectful and yet probably would think I want drugs or something. A little help? Thanks.
I am currently subscribed to 692 channels which sounds like the most adhd thing ever haha. I was curious if i was the only one with such a high number of channels subscribed too or if others are too.
I realize that this turned into a wall of text. See TLDR....
Hello, everyone....
I get frequently asked. “Oh simple!”, I reply, “In the morning, I first try to find my phone. When I eventually find it, I realise that I miss my glasses too.” After I little probing break I continue, “When I do find them, half an hour later, I can only wonder where I have put my glasses this time.”...
In reference to the awful /r/ADHD subreddit which is the most anti-ADHD place online I have ever seen I would like to know if this place will follow their horrible example or actually allow neurodivergent people with ADHD to consider it a home?...
Hey folks, so I recently got a job, which has been pretty great but very tiring. And I am finding it difficult to have that balance while also living with ADHD. I’m on meds, though might have to discuss with my psych on putting me on different meds but that’s another story for another time....
I’ve been struggling recently with increasing side effects and reduced effectiveness with my Adderall treatment. For those of you on stimulants do the side effects even subside?...
What apps do you find helpful for any adhd concerns??
