@theautisticcoach@actuallyautistic Thankful to myself: Having decided to NOT go to any of that horrid family meetups, because a) I dont want to consume alcohol just to be able to endure all that (which I did in the past; but now I am aware of that) and b) to have a one week burnout afterwards ..
Else it'd been a: Oh, you got vacation time? WASTE IT for enduring overload up to meltdown! Return with a serious burnout back to work!
@theautisticcoach@actuallyautistic And also having told our mother that - ie. a) thanks but no alcohols, because else burnout - I want to take care of my health and b) I dont want to be ill for 2 weeks after thanks to having aquired several respiratory diseases (eg. the flu, covid, etc.) while traveling about 1000 km across the country and back. by train. 2/
And then actualy ENJOY vacation time till the 2nd of january. Like for the first time in years to mentally IGNORE all potential work related stuff. Just relax. Do a strim. Rebuild and fiddle around computers. Maybe take a walk or two. Travel by bus to places and walk around there. All that :) 3/
