@EVDHmn@actuallyautistic I think that the not masking is not so much a new feeling as a lack of effort ITMAS, I don’t have to expend any energy on being anything other than me.
I have to mask so much in the NV (None Virtual) world, with everyone , most of the time. Especially with AJJ as all is not well in the Squirrel den & the ‘happy , patient , subservient ‘ mask requires an enormous amount of energy.
On here I barely mask at all - oh I hide behind the Squirrel, but other than that it’s pretty much wearing my heart on my sleeve (paw ? ) .
As you have seen over the last few days, I’m very much still falling and scraping my knees, but now I have learnt one of the things I ‘didn’t know I didn’t know’ ie that I’m autistic to some degree, then it is easier to get up & learn how not to trip over that particular thing again.
I personally am super grateful to have friends on here who share & support so willingly …. 🫵👀🖖
