@dave@actuallyautistic yeah. My folks were long gone before I'd ever heard of it.
Something interesting, my NT sisters have one story of their childhoods, trauma and whatnot, and they'd never heard of it either, so Dad is an NT villain in theirs - but my life and marriage are the same and I know I wasn't an NT villain, so my Autistic life story is completely at odds with my NT siblings' NT life stories.
Needless to say, they've been shouting their version at me my whole life, and treating me like an NT villain too.
