@markusl @StrassenKatze @cwebber @ginsterbusch @dpnash @hosford42 @Tooden @actuallyautistic @neurodiversity For more flexibility though I find I have to shop at very quiet hours. Like just before it's closing & also wear shades & sometimes headphones.

@sentient_water @markusl @cwebber @ginsterbusch @dpnash @hosford42 @Tooden @actuallyautistic @neurodiversity Saturday morning at 7, right after they open - it's blissful, not even the employees talk much at this ungodly hour. I used to do that when I was still working night shifts, and sometimes still do when I'm pulling one of my frequent all-nighters

@StrassenKatze @sentient_water @markusl @cwebber @dpnash @hosford42 @Tooden @actuallyautistic @neurodiversity Here in Aachen, there is a supermarket thats opened till 24 o'clock. The times right after 22h are sooooo bliss .. had a lot of talks with people doing the same.

.. just dont go shopping there before closing time, thats when all the students of Aachen decide "would be great to have breakfast", 5 minutes before closing time xD

Before covid we had major supermarkets which stayed open 24hrs (if staff are there anyway stacking shelves might as well take money) which was great as 3am would be quiet and quick.

Now they don't. 😒
