Hmmm... Are there any validated (or not) assesent tools? Both of these ring bells, but I'd like to reserve my self judgement until I understand more. Thanks for writing about this.

The website that article can be found is from the Aphantasia Network. Lots more information and resources including links to assessments. At least for Aphantasia. In regard to SDAM assessment tools, I’m not sure.

@AqiDraco@actuallyautistic Well, that certainly rings some bells. I feel like my most defining characteristic is that I'm just missing bits and pieces, or at least that they're not solidly there. It's hard to process, especially if you've spent most of your life trying to fill in those missing pieces somehow, yet it never really working or feeling right (and in worst cases, causing a lot of hurt...)
Time for me too to go and process that article... After a nap.
