Many Autistic people report that therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) are very limited in their effectiveness.

This is for a number of reasons. Some therapists view neurodivergent thinking as "faulty" and target it to be corrected. Some therapists refuse to believe us when we tell them how we think.

This cones down to the double empathy problem, and a significant lack of high quality training around neurodivergence.
