Title: Make Things Fly - Project: Rigid Airship 2
Artist: Aaron Collier

This subreddit spent a whole month in a 2D art rut. We're also about making things fly in real life, and there's a whole YouTube channel dedicated to building silly lighter-than-air things. After making a blimp-shaped airship that was too heavy to float, he scaled up and made what I can best describe as a shiny car-sized floating monolith. I like the way light reflects off the sides, throwing beams of sunlight everywhere. Hopefully the beams didn't hit any passing cars.

The original video was vertical video with huge black bars on the sides, so I sloppily re-cut the video in Kapwing. It's the same tool I used to make the Macy's balloon release video and the /r/physicsgifs version of the superconductor roller coaster, but unfortunately it has a watermark now unless I pay a $24/month subscription to remove it. There were also minor cuts to get the video under free Kapwing's 7 minute limit.

(2023 Hitstun here again. Because I love you guys, I actually re-re-cut the video to 9:16 using Splice for Android. No watermarks! This is also my first attempt at using catbox.moe to host the video file. @Deemo recommended Catbox to me, so let's give it a shot!)
