The show is apparently on Max. I was thinking it would be weird for the Internet Movie Database to be producing a series, though stranger things have happened, I suppose.
Just finished it. It was somewhat entertaining, but I think it was irresponsible. It greatly accelerated the timeline of climate change, greatly exaggerated things like wet bulb temperature, and invented unlikely diseases caused by climate change. It reminded me of The Day After Tomorrow by how unrealistic it was.
I worry that 20 years from now, dumbasses are going to look back at this and be like, “see, people can people sleep outside of a protective cocoon, they were lying, climate change ain’t so bad.”
It’s a fun background show but if you binge it, it will begin to show it’s repetitive humdrum quickly.
I enjoyed it. Bruce Campbell is always a treat. Jeffery Donovan is a good actor that should’ve been used more. And Gabrielle Anwar is not only easy on the eyes, but she plays a decent character. Shame they stopped the Irish accent after the first episode for her though. That added to her sexiness for sure.
