The more I make, the more we spend to cover the absence of not being able to live our own lives. Solid point. I think this is a trap a lot of people fall into.
This is what Europeans don’t understand. US is so large it is essentially 50 different countries all with their own governments and laws. Your American experience will differ greatly depending on what city and state you visit.
I bought a Galaxy S8 when it was released and within a month the motherboard failed. Took me 2 months to get a replacement, used a flip phone for the mean time. I switched to iPhone after that and will never go back. The phones are just made better and if I have an issue I can drive to the Apple store and get it fixed on the spot.
