so eat something else? if you’re reliant on a grain crop that you cant even grow yourself, you’ve never had food security. plenty of other grain crops that are cheaper to grow than rice (which requires a massive amount of water). those pictures of people that live in arid environments means they’re not growing rice, ever
hmm… really only use lemmy.world but have subscriptions to communities on 14 other instances other than this one. tried to use mastodon but i just dont like it. same with invidious, it’s just not for me. same for pixelfed - that one at least works ok but I dont really rehost images enough for it to matter.
I’d give my folks a couple million, extended family a few million total. money needs to be moved around and my family absolutely excels at spending lol.
dont smoke anymore, but back in the day I used to use a plastic activated carbon fish tank/aquifer filter with scented dryer sheets stuffed in the empty spaces.
take a hit, hold it for as long as you can to absorb a lot of the smoke, then blow through the filter.
