In my opinion this mindset isn’t fit for the fediverse in the place where it is now (people actually care about the community). Users will always come, we don’t need papa Zuck for that. Healthy communities grow naturally, and I feel like the fediverse community is healthy enough.
Meta is a “for profit” company, so every move they make is for profit and planned with their shareholders/board of directors, to approve their moves. These people only see $$$, sad but true.
