I do try to ensure the art I post is correct, which usually involves a mini research, a trip to their personal website if one exists, it can be a bit labourious, but I want to make sure I have as much accurate info as possible. It’s also means I get a mini education on contemporary art, so there are benefits…
I made a bit of a boo boo myself regarding a comment in a recent printmaking cross post at artporn, where I got a bit defensive…I think I need to de-reddit myself and not see trolls everywhere :)
Anyway, I’m glad you like her work, I think she’s easily one of my favourites too, be sure to stop by collage for more art, (I also have printmaking and abstract photography too)
I never knew they filmed The Princess Bride there, it’s a beautiful place, lots of nice rocky bits…good for mill stones!
One thing about having a community (or two) on here, is finding some incredible artists to share. I’m really having an art education renaissance which is fun, some of the work I’ve found is astonishingly good, so much talent out there!
Fair enough if I’ve got the wrong end of the stick, I was rather taken aback that anyone could infer anything pornographic from that linocut…Stand down red alert, lol
