I have. It was heartbreaking. And I would surrender them to that fate again with zero hesitation before I’d suffer eugenics to have a place in society, because it creates much more suffering. Are you under the impression that turning our backs on the creepy, misanthropic euthanasia policies dreamed up by Victorian era would-be ethnic cleansers would mean that it’s impossible for determined people to kill themselves anyway? Fuck outta here. I oppose state euthanasia precisely because I don’t trust the right wing with that kind of power. I can think of at least one notable right wing government that massively accelerated its propagandized eugenics policy into plain old cleansing of undesirables. And it’s not even the one you think I mean.
