As I understand it, Meta has a phased rollout plan regarding ActivityPub. Its efforts today are little more than effectively reposting a few Threads accounts to ActivityPub, but it will start adding features for tighter integration throughout the course of next year. https://www.threads.net/@zuck/post/C0zXcQmxO77/?igshid=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ%3D%3D

@fisherstudio the initial test (starting today) will be that some threads content will be available on ActivityPub (just to follow). So it's basically just account replication for now. Other features will roll out next year.

And people keep sending me messages, saying Mastodon will never succeed.
