Ordered an Onyx Boox Palma handheld #ereader although I’m not 100% sure about it. Love the high refresh rate and the fact that it runs #Android. That opens up a ton of useful possibilities on the 6.1” screen.

However, I’d be switching from a larger 10” E-Ink device. It too runs Android but it’s woefully underpowered. So much so that using it for anything but reading apps is painful. The Palma config is more like a mid-range phone, just without the cellular bits.

@rlounsbury I’ll be sure to share thoughts in detail. I considered the Mini C because it’s larger and uses their high refresh technology (essentially a dedicated GPU) but I don’t need color and it was more expensive.

I may regret that because I’m used to having a large-ish eInk device. 🤷‍♂️

🆕 blog post -- Oh well, no Gen 3 Snapdragon 7c Chromebooks coming after all

Chalk up another missed opportunity for based . Based on code from Google developers, there are no Gen 3 7c Chromebooks on the way.
