When I worked on Patriots Day and we were rigging the Black Falcon location, Peter Berg’s LA crew was playing real-life footage of the bombings on loop on every single monitor that they had in the building. While I worked on getting the set ready, we were subjected to gory, real-life footage of people’s limbs being blown off on loop for weeks. Peter also joked with the actors that played the bombers while re-enacting the Sean Collier murder.
