As long as you're doing , @blackmastodon , I want to mention an artist that caught my ear last Saturday and that's Shemikia Copeland, all because I heard just one song of hers on KALW's Tangents program. But the cut I heard was "I fell in love with a honky in a honkytonk bar"...which you can find on the following page, item number 9. I'll be listening to the rest of that page eventually. Couldn't find her on YouTube.
