“Nobody panics when things go “according to plan.” Even if the plan is horrifying! If, tomorrow, I tell the press that, like, Lauren Boebert got fingered in a public theatre, or that she was dry jerking her bf in public while her divorce is still warm, nobody panics, because it’s all “part of the plan”. But when I say that AOC was protesting abortion rights outside the supreme court, well then everyone loses their minds!”
It doesn’t strictly require TPM in the sense that you can make a modded install disk that does away with the TPM check altogether. People are able to install windows on all sorts of devices now.
Microsoft may have pushed hard on wanting you to have TPM, but it’s more because they didn’t want to deal with the plethora of bugs that come about as a result of inferior hardware.
Windows is still my OS of choice as any misgivings like ads etc can be disabled with a few steps . Is it annoying? Sure, but unlike Macs, I’m able to do something about it when I find something annoying instead of hoping the next OS update deals with it.
“Me? I’m dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It’s the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they’re going to do something incredibly… stupid.”
Unfortunately with games like Starfield inbound, keeping player retention means patching things the players aren’t happy with. They may be crunched but I hope they’re being compensated well for it and get a long break after
Best refresh to GW2 in ages. The story was awesome, the world building, the characters etc. Felicia Day killed it with Zojja, and I’m super excited to see more.
Maps were decent, loved the visuals, loved the fractal idea and how the wizards are experimenting on them, playing God
The kryptis are awesome. They look great but could have more variety in the way they attack, the way there were so many different types of forged or mordem, but I’m still up for more.
Wizards tower is my most frequented hub now and I think it’ll stay that way. Everything’s within reach and the portal scroll makes it as easy to get to as other hubs like mistlock sancuary
The vault daily system is the best change in years. I’m actually encouraged to go out and do content daily and the idea of getting rewards from it means it’s never wasted effort. I had a bunch of mats in my bank so that legendary starter kit got me far enough that all I need to finish the legendary Bolt is a gift of battle. Another fantastic addition.
Couldn’t praise this expac enough, and it’s not even over. Major changes to relics and reach profession will get another weapon in a few months time to bolster the gameplay. Another expansion is already being worked on so no content droughts between expacs.
I’ve no idea what you’re going on about, OP but find me a game with better value for money for $25 and I’ll join you. Imo I disagree with pretty much everything you said, even in your previous post, except that the story was awesome (even though it felt like you were coughing up blood trying to admit it).
Got the legendary chest for the Bolt. Turns out I need to get one gift of battle and some mystic clovers to finish my legendary. What would’ve cost me hundreds of gold, is going to cost me pretty much nothing.
It’s awesome. Of course, subsequent legendaries won’t benefit from all of my collected materials, but it’s still far better than going at it from scratch.
I mean we can all sympathise. We know why she’s upset. If she took more than a couple of minutes to calm down, she’ll argue herself that the country needs tourists and that they can’t be blamed for wanting to make the most of their holidays.
Out of personal experience, it’s incredibly frustrating to see people happy and smiling when your whole world is collapsing around you. It’s irrational but it makes sense.
