It’s sort of like how Batman is able to do what he does because he’s 100% committed to training and preparing for his Batmanning, but whenever someone questions whether Batmanning is actually the most effective way to fight crime then somehow he’s also able to devote half his time to philantrophic efforts, because any kind of logic or storytelling coherence must always be secondary to making sure that Batman is right and perfect in everything he does.
I just hope that the actors, writers and studios completely destroy the Hollywood machine. We can catch up on our DVDs for a year or two and then hopefully something new will come up with no affiliation with the existing studios and unions. Let the whole thing burn.
The Internet is the Internet. As the Fediverse grows, it’ll encounter all the same problems that the other social media platforms do, except one: People won’t be locked into a single website controlled by a monolithic corporation. That’s a big enough improvement in my books.
