LinkedIn search trying to give Amazon a run for their money in "busted ass search". Both of those services should be treating search like their life blood because without solid search their glut of entries are fucking useless. What in the ever loving hell?

@HarkMahlberg yeah but even oracle fusion has jack to do with cyber security. Most of the results are off even if not "promoted" or whatever. Just so tired of this garbage.

Really? You're integrated in the OS. The OS with root level access to the device with built in GPS where you've already hassled me into most (all?) of the location sharing permissions and you can't tell me at the most base level where TF I am?

@linuxiac I don't see an explanation of how this information was gathered.

Most distros don't run telemetry and download of an ISO isn't evidence of an install. I certainly keep ISOs local and install from there so likely most Linux users aren't counted.

Browser reporting which is very easily spoofed? And has to be sometimes because idiots write stuff for Chrome like they used to for IE?

Hows that line go? "...everything is made up and the points don't matter."
