I am making an #Underworld setting in #5E. And need a healing mechanic for the Immortals. Something they can use in a hunger system. And am looking for some #Mastodon feedback.

Current process is "2d4 + Con mod". Players can use it with an action. And gain a hunger. They have 3 hungers (lvl 1-4) before they lose control. And have other Immortal abilities that use hunger.

Any critiques, advice, warnings?

@ThinnishOrange5 @ttrpg DM takes control with the instruction of the char looking for what the immortal eats (vampire: mortal blood, or lycan: meat). this while there are social taboos on feeding on humans.

Not to mention, the party will have humans in it.

Goodness. When 's amazing run ended, I braced for a mediocre to fine run by the new team. But that was very not the case. I- am- STILL blown away by this current team. knows these chars, and does amazing things with their powers. And 's art executes that on-point. And one hell of a return to science heroism.

@rodhlann_draws @comics I was initially iffy about Dan Slott. And I'm not sure why. He's very good at the technical side of comics writing, and there is still a joy to it too. You can feel the love he has for it.

I didnt know the FF tied in to Spidey's run. I havnt seen any of that in the FF book. They seem pretty isolated.

@rodhlann_draws @comics Oh! Well then that must take place before or after the main FF book, cause the FF in that are kinda in exile in the midwest of the US. They were even broken up for a bit.

Does Johnny have a huge mustache in that?

@howtolovecomics I keep wondering, with all the endless jumping on points, are we advancing stories here?

I mean yea, otherwise your asking teams to win the same game a sole novel writer is asked to: launch a book that can sell series (ala Percy J, or Dresden). And in a crowded market, even within an individual company.

But also, ask writers to endlessly make jumping on points seems odd too.

Dudes! There's a new pet #SuperHero book! I love these things, either publisher.

This one is called #MarvelUnleashed. A G Shepard wearing a torn up mask asks #Hawkeye's dog for help finding a poodle's person. After getting more help from Redwing & #CaptMarvel's alien cat, they find a captured Lockjaw.

1st 'ish is well done. Already on my pulllist. Fun with usual #PetAvengers & a new on (?).

Well.. I'm kinda glad that she is still Inhuman. I know the Inhumans struggle to stay relevant at the best of times. But did we have to take this from them? Now I'm kinda worried this will X-wash her, and people will thinks she nothing but mutant.

And in general, it over complicates her. So many details makes a char a cloud of history. And makes writing them, and reading them, a chore sometimes.

@dance_along_the_edge @comics @defrisselle Also I heard about the mutant resurrection thing just being a Sinister cloning process that instills an in-bred loyalty to him. So I wonder if that is the real Kamala, or just another Sinister-clone with an X gene thrown in.

@paprika @comics Some ppl in this thread have mentioned that the mutants resurrected her too. And I heard that that resurrection tech is just Sinister cloning tech he's using to make sleeper-cells.

Or at least that's my VERY 3rd person guess.

I like her as an Inhuman. I know they are not the most popular team. But I love them, and dont want her yanked out of them. But at least she is still -part- Inhuman. ....If that -is- the real Kamala. :blobglare:
