MstrDialUp,

Ah yes, the “Waterfall Paradox”.

If there is no secret behind the waterfall: “Are you kidding me? How could they not put something behind this waterfall?”

If there is a secret behind the waterfall: “Of course they went with the lazy trope of putting a secret behind the waterfall. Typical!”

MstrDialUp,

I don’t see how this is “full circle”. In places where it does get that cold, most homes already have a form of heating for the house. Adding on a heat pump or, at least in my case in the Midwest, replacing the central AC unit with a heat pump just means that you’re only kicking that original heating system on a few days out of the year. That’s a massive reduction in use compared to being the only source of heat for half the year.

It’s a problem that new construction homes would need to fix if they don’t want an NG connection at all, but it’s not unsolvable.

MstrDialUp,

Funny timing, considering I’m for the first time having trouble getting a TP-Link AC600 working on a Mint install.

MstrDialUp,

Yeah, it was literally one “cycle”, it’s right about time for people to start getting trading in their phone and getting the new version that they got the Pass for.

I don’t need a new phone every year, but I liked the security of the Pass idea, similar to Apple’s plan.

Who knows why Google does these things. I doubt they know.
