I’m seeing bees, and butterflies coming back, lightning bugs. But not enough. Not nearly. I know it’s only cause my block has native plants on purpose to attract them.
Otherwise I barely see anything else. Except lots of dragonflies and damn mosquitoes.
I’m supposed to be planting a bunch of perennials right now. They have been sitting in their same containers from the store because I’m too depressed to plant them.
And yet they’re thriving. There’s a lesson there somewhere.
That graph showing a sudden massive uptick all at once across so many instances? Crazy.
From the post, it seemed that the intention was not to inflate the numbers alone, but to have the bots sit around until needed. It makes me mad that someone jumped on that so fast to set up all those sleeper bots.
Even though I’ve finished the first three at least once, Fatal Frame games are terrifying. I love them dearly, but I literally can only play any of them for maybe an hour before I have to turn them off.
I don’t know if I would be able to finish one these days. My anxiety is way worse than when I was young.
Edit: To be more specific, the sound design in FF games is too good. The atmospheric sound effects, the background music, the ghosts voices. It’s so creepy. The way the ghosts appear out of nowhere, the subject matter of folkloric rituals.
It’s all just the perfect storm of terror. The anxiety gets to me after a time.
Siren is another series I would hate to play right now.
We go to a chain called Cinemark and the tickets are far cheaper than AMC. I think for 6 people on opening night with heated D-Box seats (the kind that move and shake and vibrate) directly in the middle of the theater cost me $100. Plus I have a membership so free tickets and no fees too.
If we went with regular seats we would have gotten them at around $10 per person. Heated recliners all around.
