There is a discord called The Orchard and that’s a good starting place for trans peeps needing to vent or make a friend. My favorite LGBTQ+ discord is actually a leftist youtubers discord. So many people there are queer.
My kitchen got renovated and finished a month ago, this weekend I worked so hard trying to clean all my stuff and put it away. Still not done. And I’m so tired today. To add a splash of excitement, the kitchen does get more enjoyable to use and is becoming a fun place to be again.
I didn’t say race. I said Confederacy. The lyrics continuously dogwhistle about the mason dixon line and the union / confederacy divide.
Can it really be populist and anti-corporate if it repeats talking points from Raegan? And if it was almost certainly funded and put in front of us by a think tank?
Next update will allow you to personally defederate with them even if your instance hasn’t. If you’d like. You can also very easily migrate to a new instance, if you’d prefer thaf route.
I just wanna let you know, I’m an American leftist and I have that exact same distrust in government. I don’t want less government but rather none of it at all. Unfortunately, before that might become possible, a lot of the policies I advocate for do indeed require more regulations and bureauctats.
Yup. My politics opens me up to being in opposition to the state, any state, or even all states, without discounting the achievements of the people. Value is built by labor and funded by capital. That state is pure evil and finding new ways to do more evil.
Hold up you are conflating different laws and situations. But still yes, actually, it is. Support wavers on trans issues when you get into the weeds. Most Americans don’t want to see trans binary people participating in sports, for example. They are far less likely to support trans peoppe having access to surgery as soon as they have medical autonomy (16).
I’m saying this full well knowing every single trans person is required to see 2 psychologists, and multiple doctors during their transition. More if they start as children and finish in adulthood.
I think Aesthelete better cleared up what I am trying to say using OPEC as an example. Other versions of this behavior is in Dairy / Milk in the US. They’re wasting millions of gallons of milk in order to keep the price higher where it’s set by a central planner in the industry. Farmers will choose certain days to sell their crop as to try and get the highest price - and this is an innocent behavior - but capitalism literally has a built-in mechanism to encourage this form of price stability. Another bad example is poultry production in the US. There’s 4 companies only, and small farmers actually license and rent all of the stuff from the big 4. These farmers are treated so terribly, and at the end of the day they don’t actually get to sell or set the price. The central company does.
