-I think the show is doing a great job with a tough ask of following up #StarWars “Rebels” plot points while telling its own story. The time skip did a lot here. For instance the primary conflict being between Sabine and Ahsoka when those two hardly interacted in “Rebels” grounds this new show in its own context.
-Hera is still Space Mom and Sabine is still God’s gift to coolness.
-the idea of mercenary ex-Jedi is SO compelling that it’s an instant hook for me.
-Chopper scene was amazing. Of course he’s got to root around for and then THROW a tracker at an enemy ship. Sublime.
-the tension of Sabine being trained in the Jedi Arts without being force-sensitive is very promising. I think the script did a great job re-introducing her too—the bit with the E-wings was a smidge goofy but you get Rebel hero, list without a cause, Mandalorian, artist, tech wiz, all brought in as organically as possible.
@rm4 I don’t know, supposedly Rex is coming in too but I really don’t know what happens next, which is exciting. They all going to the next galaxy? Marrok gonna fight a purgill? Have Thrawn and Ezra been living in domestic bliss all this time??
