All Systems Red by Martha Wells

Very interesting novella. Wells puts us in the mind of a security robot that's slipped its leash. The book takes us through its struggles, and the struggles of those around it, to wrestle with its humanity. I really enjoyed this, and am looking forward to the rest of the series.

OK. I'm making a concerted effort to learn #ukulele chords and what they're called. So, I'm writing them down. ("If you don't write it down, you're just f*cking around.")
I'll not post my progress in real time -- the social accountability thing doesn't work for me because it just makes me feel demotivating shame when I don't keep it up -- but I'll reply here when I've got a few and have some stable transitions.
