That’s never going to happen, especially now there’s no way that Israel sends military aid any time soon. Even before that, Russia was and still is pretty important for Isreal which is putting them in a very awkward spot when it comes to the war in Ukraine.
Russias pretext for the war is complete horseshit. They have been supporting the rebels in these breakaway republics that magically appeared just after Russia annexed Crimea in 2014. Their support went beyond the usual proxy war/hybrid warfare bs, as hundreds of russian armed service men were confirmed KIA in Donezk and Luhansk.
Also there’s not a shred of evidence for the secret nazi government of Ukraine (led by a Jewish president) and Ukraines bid to join nato was 1. Years of not decades from its realization and 2. None of Russias business.
Yes corporations are le bad but you can’t really expect anyone (except the occasional millionaire philanthropist) to invest large amounts of finite research money on ultra rare diseases.
It’s worse in systems without private capital. What incentive would a government have to invest in medical technology that doesn’t have the broadest appeal possible?
It’s not the main problem by a long shot but it’s certainly impacting existing businesses. For some of them it’s just the final nail in the coffin.
Dumbass nimby boomers and zoning are a whole other can of worms. If you can spare the free time to annoy your city council with your pet peeves (which said boomer nimbys often can) you can get a lot of things done.
You’re still shafting poor people when you steal stuff from local shops, even if they belong to large corporations. They usually start locking up items that are frequently stolen and sometimes even close down entirely. This is how food deserts are made.
The “truths” picked here are just pretty terrible to make that point. There’s for example one kind of slavery that people are usually fine with: children are to some extent the slaves of their parents. They have to do what they say, have no freedom of where they want to live and should they run away, the police will return them to their owners. Oh and kids can’t vote either and roughly half of them are female.
It’s not like having access to free information makes you immune to getting captured by propaganda. But the Trumptards chose to get themselves captured. That’s why people in democratic countries are arguably more more culpible if they fall for this kind of crap.
